March Events & Festivals

Looking for March events, festivals and things to do during this windy month? Then you've come to the right place. We have listings for Pensacola, Tallahassee and all points in between.

March is Florida Archaeology Month, so it's a great time to get out and visit local museums and historic sites, particularly the Indian Temple Mound and the Letchworth-Love Mounds and learn more about Florida history. The last Wednesday in March is Manatee Appreciation Day and if you're lucky, you might see some of these beautiful and majestic creatures at Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park. This month you can also learn about Florida's forestry industry, enjoy some go-od ribs, and experience a hometown street festival.

March 1st is National Peanut Butter Lover's Day (munyumn), The first Friday of the month is National Employee Appreciation Day, March 12th is Girl Scout Day (gotta love those cookies), the wearin' of the green takes place on St. Patrick's Day March 17th, and don't forget to Spring Forward this month - Daylight Savings starts March 8th.

Seafood platterFestivals are more fun with food.

There's so much happening that we can't possibly cover it all, so if there's an event you think we need to include, please add it in the comments below or contact us and let us know about it.
