Northwest Florida Boutique Hotels

Northwest Florida boutique hotels can be found all along the coast, offering a different kind of accommodations experience. Often smaller and more intimate, these unique hotels might be based on a theme, have a special location, be quirky or artsy, or just offer a luxurious atmosphere in which to relax and unwind.

I have to admit that when I travel, I like to stay in places that are different and interesting. This includes bed and breakfasts and smaller hotels, where I can talk to and get to know the owner/manager. You can find out all kinds of stories about the place (like, does it have any ghosts), and how the owners got into the hotel business.

Smaller hotels are popping up all over the coast. For instance, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort recently refurbished one of their older hotels to create Le Ciel, a luxury boutique hotel overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay. There are two in Tallahassee, listed below, each offering a different Capital experience, and in Destin and Apalachicola, you can stay right on the water.

So whether you're traveling overnight or over the season, don't overlook these unique stays. If you do check-in to any of these Northwest Florida boutique hotels, or if you find others that we haven't listed here, let us know. In fact, why not write a hotel review and tell us about your stay?

Have You Stayed in any Northwest Florida Boutique Hotels?

Here's your chance to write a hotel review and tell the world about your experience.

Where did you stay?

Were children welcome?
Was it pet-friendly?
What was good about it?
What was not so good about it?
Were there fun things to do nearby?
Would you stay there again?

Your review could help other Explorers decide if this is the right place for them. You don't have to be fancy, just tell your story in your own words. Okay? Then, let's get started.
