If you’re looking for Northwest Florida haunted attractions, you found them. This list of Halloween events, haunted houses, ghost tours and paranormal investigations is the only one that covers the entire region from Monticello to Pensacola. You’ll find all the spooky happenings right here.
Floating orbs, creaking stairs, things that go bump in the night; they're all here, in one form or another. Some of these events are led by
professional paranormal groups and some are fund raisers for community organizations. All are good spooky fun.

Historic Monticello Ghost Tours
Dates: October 16 & 17, 23 & 24, 30 & 31 (Halloween), 2015
Hours: 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Where: Monticello Chamber of Commerce, 420 Washington Street, Monticello, Exit 225 off I-10

Visit Monticello, the South's Most Haunted Town, if you dare. The ghosts here are active all year round, but in the fall, the Big Bend Ghost Trackers and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce team up for a spirited series of ghost tours. There are two tour times available and each is a 90 minute, family-friendly walking tour in historic downtown Monticello.
Ghost Tours at the Daffodale House
Date: Every Weekend in October
Hours: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time
Where: Daffodale Estate, 620 W. Washington Street, Monticello
Cost: Tours only, ages 15 to adult $15 , children (ages 7-14) $7, children 6 and younger free, tours with dinner, all ages $25

These one-hour ghost tours of the circa 1897 Daffodale House will give you shivers. Hear ghostly tales and local legends of the house and it's five documented spirits. The Big Bend Ghost Trackers call Daffodale an "authentic haunted house." Reservations are required and they fill up fast so call early.
Historic Pensacola Ghost Tours
Date: October 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 2015
Hours: Walking tours last one hour and 15 minutes and run every 30 minutes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Trolley tours are 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Where: Tours leave from the Pensacola Historical Museum, 115 East Zaragoza Street, downtown Pensacola
Cost: Prepaid reservations required. Walking Tours: $15 adults, $8 children 12 and under; Trolley Tours: $20 adults, $10 children 12 and under. Tours operate rain or dark

Dare to explore to world of ghosts and legends of Pensacola. Fun and entertaining guides in costume lead brave individuals through downtown Pensacola, sharing the more unusual, scary and colorful history and stories of this historic city. Most tours are family friendly, however the Red Light tour is adults only due to mature theme. Tours include Murder and Mayhem, Ghastly Ghosts of North Seville and a Trolley ride through the haunted happenings of Pensacola's past.

If you've ever wanted to meet some of Apalachicola's notable past residents, here's your chance. They're all hanging around the cemetery just dying to meet you too. Learn what it was like to live in Apalachicola 100 years ago from the people who were there. Proceeds help cemetery preservation.
Pensacola Para Con, A Paranormal, Horror and Sci Fi Convention
Date: August 8 & 9, 2015
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily
Where: Pensacola Interstate Fair Grounds, 6655 Mobile Hwy., Pensacola

This two-day convention is packed with zombies, vampires, seminars, workshops and all things paranormal. From scifi and horror to gaming and movies it's all good fun. There's even a costume contest and kids activities. Tickets are available online or at the door.
